Antoine Edel
The Experience Systems Architect
STORIES
From physical structures to digital ecosystems, I design high-scale experiences where data becomes intelligible and innovation becomes invisible.
With a foundation in BIM Management, I bring the rigor of architectural
engineering to digital product leadership. Today, I lead strategic transformation for global leaders (Decathlon, Cdiscount, SFR, PSA, BMW), streamlining complex organizational structures into high-performance, seamless
ecosystems.
My approach is built on three pillars:
1. Strategic Leadership & AI Integration
I specialize in structuring world-class Design Organizations. From Jobs-to-be-Done frameworks to the deployment of Agentic AI workflows, I empower teams by automating the redundant to focus on high-value creation.
2. Data-Driven Impact & Applied Innovation
I transform complex data into actionable insights through Advanced Datavisualization and Immersive Realities (AR/VR). My focus is delivering measurable business value, bridging the gap between user emotion and corporate ROI/CSAT metrics.
3. Cross-Functional Synergy
I don’t just manage designers; I build strategic bridges between Executive Leadership, Engineering, and Users. I act as a catalyst for collective intelligence, ensuring design is a core driver of business growth and operational efficiency.
WORK EXPERIENCE
#CX DIRECTOR
2023-2026
CX Director of United teammates experience (Decathlon)
I help organizations understand, structure, and redesign their teammate digital systems as coherent wholes. My work focuses on clarifying interactions between people, processes, data, and technology to create resilient and aligned ecosystems.
#LEAD DESIGN
2021-2023
Lead designer of
e-commerce Product (Casino Group)
I worked as a Lead Designer across a portfolio of digital products within the Design Factory. I designed and implemented a shared framework to unify design processes and practices across teams, strengthening consistency and operational efficiency.
In parallel, I actively promoted the value of design across business functions and executive leadership, positioning the Design Factory as a strategic partner rather than a delivery function.
#HEAD OF
2020
Head of Design (Skeepers Group)
I supported a large-scale design transformation by unifying design teams across multiple products into a single, coherent organization.
I designed a shared operating framework and governance model to align teams, processes, and decision-making, while maintaining business continuity and ongoing product development during the transition.
#LEAD DESIGN
2015-2019
Leader design and designer OPS (Onepoint)
I helped formalize design governance across the organization, aligning designers around shared standards, decision-making processes, and strategic objectives.
I led the recruitment of new design profiles to support complex client engagements, while building and managing an R&D unit focused on applied research, patent creation, and academic partnerships, including the supervision of doctoral research and research funding initiatives.
#UX DESIGN
2013-2015
User Experience (UX) Designer, specialized in Dataviz (10h11)
My early experience as a junior UX Designer focused on consulting engagements in data visualization for diverse client environments.
Working with public sector organizations, startups, SMEs, and large enterprises, I developed a strong foundation in making complex data intelligible through user-centered and analytically driven design.
2008-2013
Master degree DITA (Design, Innovation, Technologies, Arts)
I completed a Master’s degree focused on cognitive sciences and design.
The program combined user-centered design with disciplines such as ethnology, sociology, ergonomics, anthropology, and design sciences, providing a strong interdisciplinary foundation.
During my studies, I quickly specialized in user research and the understanding of digital systems, developing an analytical approach to how people interact with complex technological environments.

Associate Researcher · PhD in Psychology · Expert in Human Development in the Digital Age
STORIES
I am a researcher and lecturer in psychology specialising in the study of human development in the digital age. My work focuses on the interactions between social media use, identity construction and psychological well-being among adolescents and young adults.
At the intersection of developmental psychology, social sciences and the behavioural analysis of digital environments, I have spent more than a decade studying how technological ecosystems influence individual trajectories, social behaviours and identity formation.
I hold a PhD in Psychology from the University of Bordeaux and I am a licensed psychologist. I am also an associate researcher at the LabPsy UR 4139 research laboratory, where I contribute to research on human development and digital environments.
Alongside my research, I teach developmental psychology, neuroscience and research methodology at the university level. I am also qualified for Associate Professor positions in Psychology (CNU Section 16). My work today sits at the intersection of research, teaching and interdisciplinary collaborations addressing the societal challenges raised by digital technologies.
My role at Systemic Lab :
At Systemic Lab, I contribute to developing a research practice dedicated to understanding the human, social and organisational transformations driven by digital environments.
My work connects academic research with real-world organisational challenges, helping to:
-
analyze the impact of digital technologies on human behavior
-
better understand social transformations driven by digital platforms
-
develop research-based frameworks and insights for organizations and institutions
Through this collaboration, Systemic Lab strengthens its ambition to operate as a research-driven practice exploring the systemic transformations shaping contemporary societies.
